The Party of Regions is ready to cooperate with the opposition, deputy Prime Minister, social policy minister and deputy head of the party Tihipko said during the 9th annual meeting of the Yalta European Strategy.
Tihipko said that the opposition is also a part of the state and requires a dialogue. "We are absolutely ready for cooperation. I recall the words of Charles de Gaulle, who said that the opposition is also France. And I believe that this principle can be applied in Ukraine. The opposition is also Ukraine, and we are ready for constructive conversation," Tihipko said.
In addition, the politician believes that the current government has a serious advantage over the opposition, as its ratings are much higher. Therefore, according to the politician, the Party of Regions will receive the majority in the parliamentary elections.
As a reminder, the parliamentary elections in Ukraine are scheduled for October 28.
