Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov congratulated workers of pharmaceutical companies on their professional holiday.
Azarov named the pharmaceutical industry a flagship of the advanced technologies and the introduction of new products in the market. The Prime Minister is sure that confidence of the Ukrainians to domestic drugs is growing due to their effectiveness and affordability.
"Ukraine has ratified Convention of the Council of Europe on action against counterfeiting of medical products. Changes were taken at the government level in the legal field, which created a reliable barrier for substandard pharmaceutical products to enter the market," Azarov said.
