First deputy head of the President’s Administration Iryna Akimova said that the representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) do not worry about the macroeconomic stability in Ukraine, she told journalists at the 9th Forum of the Yalta European Strategy.

"Colleagues from the IMF have no questions on the macroeconomic stability. Moreover, it seems to me that Ukraine shows the progress in the macro-economic stability better than we were expected," the first deputy head of the Administration said.

Thus, commenting on the excess of the amount of government guarantees provided previously, she noted that the government has to take measures to stimulate domestic market in the unfavorable conditions in the foreign markets.

She also noted that the state guarantees are primarily allocated for infrastructure projects.
