The CEC explained how a voter can update his data in the register of voters and electoral lists, deputy head of the State Register of Voters Office Oleksandr Stelmakh said during the training seminar with the heads of district election commissions held in the CEC, ForUm correspondent reports
In particular, he reminded that there will be two types of electoral lists - preliminary (which must be made by October 9) and refined.
The official also said that the electoral commission should consider the changed data within one day, make a decision and immediately send the relevant papers to the Authority for register of voters. After that, the Authority considers the issue and immediately informs on its decision to the polling station commission and a person who gave the application.
In addition, the voter has a right to go to the court to clarify data or to include or exclude the solution of the issue from the list, then the court requests to clarify the data to the appropriate body of the registry.
