The Central Election Commission adopted the rules of video monitoring and broadcast during the parliamentary election in Ukraine on October 28, ForUm correspondent reports from the CEC meeting.

In particular, the organization of monitoring at the ordinary polling stations will be carried out by installation a video recording system, as well as equipment to provide communication channels. This does not apply to the district, foreign, special election commissions and the CEC.
 
According to the CEC decision, the video shall be broadcasted on the web sites, the links to which will be posted on the official website of the CEC. Broadcast shall be started no later than the beginning of the preparatory meeting of the election commission and will continue until the end of voting, no earlier than 8 p.m. on October 28.

Video recording and its storing during the count shall not be stopped earlier than the polling board signs a protocol on vote counting.

The process of video recording will be done using two laptops, two webcams, two active and two passive USBs. The special equipment will be housed in a secure cabinet with vandal protection device.
 
It was also agreed that one camera will focus on the place of issuing voting papers and working with lists, the second - on stationary ballot boxes. The installed cameras shall not be moved.

Testing of video recording system shall be held no later than ten days before the election day.
