Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych is confident that Ukraine will sign the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, including Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area after the parliamentary election.
Yanukovych noted that Ukraine is actively moving towards the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union. He reminded that in July this year, the FTA agreement was initialed.

"At the moment, our partners showed some additional questions to Ukraine. However, I believe - after the current parliamentary election, all fear will disappear and the path to a full-Ukraine-EU Association will be passed to the end", Yanukovych said, speaking at the 9th annual meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES).
Moreover, he noted that besides strengthening relations with Europe, Ukraine is interested in developing of cooperation with the leading countries of the region. In addition to the CIS, he called the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and others.
