Macaroni, cereals and tomatoes prices fell down in the Ukrainian market, but cucumbers and eggs prices rose, agrarian policy and food minister Anatoly Prysyazhnyuk told a briefing after the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.

In particular, he noted that the prices were monitored, and as of the beginning of September, the prices of flour and meat products did not change. "The prices of cereals, macaroni, carrots and tomatoes fell down at markets and bazaars," he said.

At the same time, according to the minister, eggs prices of the first category rose by 1.5% and of the second category - by 1.6%, cucumbers - by 2%.

He also said that the Agrarian Fund has begun selling flour. "We have started making flour and intervention at the bakery and the retail market. Flour from the Agrarian Fund in the retail market will be cheaper by about one hryvnia," he noted.
