Today, Dnipropetrovsk City Council at the regular session decided to implement the provisions of the law on the principles of national language policy in Dnipropetrovsk.
80 deputies out of 100 registered in the session hall voted in favor of this decision.
The decision of the City Council, in particular, refers to the use of the Russian language along with the state language in the records management, document management, correspondence.
"The budgetary costs for implementing the provisions of the law on languages are not provided for, we electronic document flow. It is easy for employees to translate the documents into Russian," mayor of Dnipropetrovsk Ivan Kulichenko said.
According to Kulichenko, in Dnipropetrovsk neither the state nor the Russian language have been oppressed earlier.
