
Government of Ukraine approved 5.9% inflation forecast in the state budget for 2013, finance minister Yuri Kolobov told a press conference in the Cabinet, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The budget was calculated from the GDP growth by 4.5%. The nominal GDP amounts to one trillion 637 million UAH. Inflation is at the level of 5.9%, government revenue will be increased by 6.4% to 394 billion UAH and the costs by 6.3% to 434 billion UAH," he said.
According to him, the government is also planning to reduce the deficit and debt burden.
Kolobov also said that the minimum wage in the state budget for 2013 was increased by 8.7%, while the subsidy to help low-income persons by 26.2%
"All social initiatives of the President were budgeted, this is 29 billion UAH," Kolobov said.
