16 experts of the International Observation Mission of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe started work on monitoring of the Verkhovna Rada elections, FM spokesman Oleksandr Dikusarov told a press briefing.

According to Dikusarov, Audrey Francis Glover was appointed to be a chairman of the mission.

The FM spokesman reported that on September 10, 16 OSCE experts started their work, and on September 17, other 90 observers will come to different regions of Ukraine.

Their main task will be to monitor the election process in Ukraine and prepare reports on the situation and be ready for the arrival of other 600 OSCE observers to monitor the election day.

Dikusarov stressed that the Foreign Ministry is ready to contribute to the effective work of the OSCE.
