Ukrainian authorities are interested in the presence of the maximum number of international observers at the parliamentary election, which will help to hold them in more transparent and democratic way, head of the Party of Regions central election headquarters during parliamentary election 2012 Andriy Kluiyev said, the NSDC press service informs.

According to him, Ukraine is ready to accept any number of observers from other countries and international organizations.

Head of the Party of Regions central election headquarters highlighted future participation of 15 European Parliament’s representatives in Ukraine’s election monitoring. "I would like to note that the EU MPs will be part of many thousands of observers, who come to our country to form their own view of the election. I am sure that the parliamentary elections will be democratic and transparent," Kluiyev said.

He stressed that due to new version of the electoral law, the role of observers from the Ukrainian NGOs increases in the current election campaign.  They are given the status of a subject of the election campaign, which greatly enhances their rights. According to Kluiyev, it is an additional guarantee of increasing competition and transparency of the electoral process.
