Public organization "Union of Ukrainians of Russia" intends to reputedly apply for registration to the Justice Ministry of Russia before December, chairman of the liquidated union Taras Dudko announced.
"I think we will apply the documents in November," he said and added that the new organization might face the same problems of the previously dismissed same-name organization - "Union of Ukrainians of Russia".
"This is a common occurrence for all Ukrainian organizations in the Russian Federation, but things change, and we hope the new democratic period will come to Russia," he said.
Dudko also informed they plan to form a number of regional organizations of Ukrainians in Russia, and then to unite them under governance of the new All-Russian organization of Ukrainians.
