The government will solve all social issues concerning the World War II veterans, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said at a solemn meeting on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the liberation of Donbas from the German invaders in Donetsk region, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
"The President and the government paid and will pay serious attention to all social issues of our veterans," Azarov said.
However, the head of the government addressed the youth with a request to remember that great deed made by the veterans winning the fascism.
The Prime Minister also took part in a memorial service and laid a wreath in honor of those who fell in battles of the World War II at the Eternal Flame.
