Budget deficit in 2013 will be lower than in the current year, vice Prime Minister - social policy minister Serhiy Tihipko told a briefing after the meeting of the Committee on Economic Reforms, ForUm correspondent reports.

He did not announced any specific figures on macroeconomic indicators of the budget 2013, stating that the work on this document continues. However, he assured that all the main indicators of the state budget 2013 will be released after September 15.

However, he assured that there will be enough funds in the state budget for next year to implement the President’s initiatives, being implemented this year, and to introduce a number of new social projects.

In turn, first deputy head of the President’s Administration Iryna Akimova noted that social initiatives of the President in the current year have been 60% implemented and by the end of the year will be made one hundred percent.
Tihipko said that in 2013, it is planned to introduce a number of new social programs, among them - the program to create day-care centers for children with disabilities, the housing program for major orphans, the housing program for retired servicemen.

Tihipko and Akimova did not tell about specific sources of funding for these programs. At the same time Akimova said that they would be funded through the central and local budgets, and some of them will receive funding under the public-private partnership.
