The global economic crisis can not but affect Ukraine, the President said during a meeting of the Committee on Economic Reforms, ForUm correspondent reported.
"People will have welfare when the economy will work effectively. Of course, we would like to do more and faster, but we are well aware that in this difficult time, when the world economic crisis rages, it can not but affect our country," the President noted.
According to him, we must act without delay in order to prevent the crisis.
"I want to say that we must keep alert. We should know what to do every day," Yanukovych said.
