Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov opened the second compressor plant on the establishment of the complex preparation for gas production of Yulyevsky gas field in Kharkiv region.
At the opening ceremony of the compressor station, Azarov noted that the strengthening of energy security of Ukraine is a priority for the government. According to him, today’s opening of the well will allow to increase annually the gas production.
"I congratulate you on the opening of the second booster compressor station in Kharkiv region, which will allow us to solve the problem of the gas production increase and ensure the energy independence of Ukraine," Azarov said.
He stressed that the Ukrainian government will continue to take steps to solve the problems of our country's dependence on imported energy.
