Ukraine should prepare for the autumn epidemics, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said at the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Autumn is a season of traditional spread of virus infections. The Health Ministry, the Emergencies Ministry, the State Reserve Agency receiving the necessary material resources to fight the epidemics should be up in arms," Azarov said.
According to him, all health centers, hospitals, educational institutions andbudgetary institutions should have sufficient supplies of preventive and therapeutic agents and materials to stop quickly the spread of infectious diseases.
"I charge the Health Ministry to check the availability of the sufficient number of preventive medicines in pharmacies. We should have sufficient reserves and update them in due time," he said.
