Yesterday, finance minister Yuri Kolobov and experts of the International Monetary Fund discussed the draft state budget for 2013, the press service of the Finance Ministry reported.
"During the meeting, the parties discussed issue on the main options of the state budget for 2013," the press service said.
According to the statement, the IMF experts provided their own assessment of the factors for the development of both international and Ukrainian state finances in 2013.
In turn, finance minister Yuri Kolobov said that the draft state budget of Ukraine for 2013 was developed due to the current trends and forecasts of the world economy," the statement said.
In addition, the IMF mission commended the government's policy on further fiscal consolidation and balanced debt policy.
