The head of the Party of Regions faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Yefremov is sure that the Parliament should return to the language issue after the election.
According to him, it will be impossible to prevent political speculations around this law before the election.
"The current law corresponds to the international practice and the European language charter. The only thing is, we did not have the opportunity to work it out in the second reading. Even its authors have 43 amendments to the law. Some amendments are to be proposed by the group set up by the President. But I consider illogical to consider this document in the pre-election rhetoric period, so our faction states that this document should be considered after the election," Yefremov told a briefing in the Parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.
