Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych stressed that the government will provide all necessary conditions for holding free and democratic election.
"The government and I as the President will do all that is necessary for this," he assured at the opening of the 64th World Newspaper Congress and the 19th World Editors Forum, the President’s press service informs.
He reminded that all the recent elections in Ukraine were recognized to comply with the international democratic standards.
The President also said that now in Ukraine the reforms to influence all spheres of life, including the electoral laws, are being implemented. "We are taking measures to improve the electoral legislation," Yanukovych said.
