The “secret ballot” method will be applied conducting the exit poll on the election day, director general of the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology Volodymyr Paniotto told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.

He explained that the essence of the method lies in the fact that conducting the survey, a respondent fills in the questionnaire himself instead of answering direct question "Tell me who you voted for?". In addition, the survey will include a question on sex, age group, education, and the time of adoption of the decision for whom vote for.

"Such a method reduces the number of failures and significantly improves the reliability of the exit poll data," Paniotto explained.

In total, according to him, 16.500 respondents will be interviewed. Two-three interviewers will work at each of the 400 polling stations. In general, about 700 specially trained interviewers will be involved.
In turn, director of the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiative Fund Iryna Bekeshkina said that the exit poll will be completely transparent.

"We plan to make three-time publication of results, in view of updated data: immediately after the polling stations closed on October 28 at 8 p.m., based on data collected two hours before the stations closed, three hours after the stations closed - at 11 p.m. with the addition of data collected at the stations where work continued until the stations are closed," she said.

Also, according to Bekeshkina, it is planned to publish a detailed report within 5-7 days after the receipt of paper questionnaires.
