Well-known former footballer of the Shakhtar Donetsk and the Dynamo Kyiv and coach Anatoly Konkov was elected the president of the Football Federation of Ukraine for four years.

At the FFU Congress on September 2, 132 out of 133 authorized delegates voted for his candidacy.
Konkov was the only candidate for the post of the president of the national football association.
 
In addition, the deputy director general of the FC Shakhtar (Donetsk) Anatoly Popov and current first vice-president of the Football Federation of Ukraine Serhiy Storozhenko were elected as the first vice presidents of the FFU.

The resigned president of the Football Federation of Ukraine, member of the UEFA Executive Committee Hryhoriy Surkis became the honorary president of the national association. He will not have the right to vote in decision-making by the governing bodies of the FFU.
