14 billion UAH will be spent for the construction of the fourth line of Kyiv underground in the direction of Vygurovshchina-Troyeshchyna area, head of the Kiev Underground utility company Volodymyr Fedorenko said during the round table "Solutions to Kyiv transport problems", ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the new line will have 12 stations with total length of 20.6 km. "This line built was started to be constructed recently, using the most modern technologies. For example, it will have six-car trains with modern climate system. In addition, the electric depot will be built, and the stations will be equipped with all the necessary conditions for people with disabilities," Fedorenko informed.
Earlier, chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov said that in 3-4 years the city authorities are planning to put into operation the first station of the fourth underground line to Troyeschina.
