Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Klymenko predicts that about 21 thousand entrepreneurs can move to the simplified taxation system.
"We introduced the additional categories under the simplified taxation system not because it will give some additional revenue, but because it is convenient for businessmen, when small businessmen become medium ones. This step allows reducing the fiscal burden on business. Potentially, more than 21 thousand companies and individuals can elect a simplified taxation system now," chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Klymenko told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the actual number of such businessmen could be named at the end of the year.
Klymenko also said that as of today more than 145 thousand new Ukrainian entrepreneurs are working under the simplified taxation system.
