The Russian government submitted to the state duma a draft federal law "On ratification of the agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of Ukraine on joint control of persons, vehicles and goods on the Russian-Ukrainian state border."
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed the relevant decree, the press service of the Russian government reported.
The agreement is aimed to improve the efficiency of check points, reduce the time required for monitoring, simplify formalities and create favorable conditions for crossing the state joint border by people and vehicles, as well as the movement of goods.
