
The Shevchenko Kyiv National University was included into one of the leading world university rankings composed by the Times Higher Education, education and science, youth and sports minister Dmytro Tabachnyk said.
The minister also informed that the application of other two Ukrainian universities on entering the ranking will be considered in September.
The Times Higher Education world university ranking has been published annually by the Times Higher Education British magazine since 2004.
The universities are assessed in five categories: teaching (30% of overall score), research (30%), citations (32.5%), the ratio between domestic and foreign students and teachers (5%), operating income (2.5%).
