Employees of the Chornobyl zone department together with the police battalion for protection of the radioactive contamination zone have detained four cars with 130 kg of mushrooms. Residents of Kyiv and Borodyanka district of Kyiv region tried to remove mushrooms from the contaminated territory, the press service of the Regional Office of the Internal Ministry of Ukraine in Kyiv region reported.
According to the capital police, the transport and mushrooms were seized. The issue of criminal cases under the Criminal Code (violation of the regime of radiation safety) is being discussed.
