The Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft development strategy of the information society. The relevant draft decree was approved at the government meeting on Wednesday. Then it will be submitted toPresident Viktor Yanukovych.
The strategy provides for the introduction of information and communication technologies in all fields of the public life within the implementation of the initiative "Partnership "Open government."
The document also contains the draft action plan on the establishment and support of operations of the electronic government.
The preparation of this project was controlled by first deputy Prime Minister Valery Khoroshkovsky, who headed the coordinating council on the implementation of the initiative "Partnership "Open government."
