Ukraine should return to proportional electoral system, deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine Andriy Mahera said during online conference at ForUm.
"I am convinced that sooner or later, Ukraine will introduce a proportional system with open regional lists. Currently, this electoral system is the least corrupt among the all existing systems.
In addition, the official said that such electoral system will strengthen the organization of political parties and will encourage them to be more responsible to the voters, leading to political structuring of society.
