For the first six months of this year, Polish border guards did not allow about 6.5 thousand citizens of Ukraine to enter the country that is by 1.8 thousand people or almost by 40% more than in the first half of the last year.

According to the border guards, the lack of documents confirming the purpose of the trip was the main reason why the Ukrainians were not allowed to enter Poland, and there were 2.7 thousand such cases.

In addition, often the Poles returned the Ukrainians back as they did not have visa or other document required for entry (1.5 thousand cases) and due to the lack of enough sum of money to stay in Poland(about 800 cases).
