Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych hopes that one of the next FIFA World Cup will be held in Ukraine, he told a press conference with UEFA President Michel Platini in Kyiv.
Yanukovych noted once again the success of the finals of the European Football Championship, which was held in Ukraine and Poland.
The President stressed that it inspires for the next steps. "We dream that once Ukraine will host the World Cup, and we'll work on it," Viktor Yanukovych said.
He admitted that he is still under the impression of Euro 2012, which ended almost two months ago. The President thanked once again UEFA for the confidence in Ukraine.
As a reminder, Euro-2012 was held from June 8 to July 1 in four Ukrainian and four Polish cities.
