Doctors assess the health condition of ex-interior minister Yuri Lutsenko as satisfactory.
As the press service of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine informs, such a conclusion was made after the medical examination of Lutsenko by the Healthcare Ministry and the Penitentiary Service expert commission on Thursday, August 23.

"After examination of Lutsenko, the doctors noted that the results of tests are within the physiological range," the SPSU press office notes.

In addition, the SPSU officials added that Lutsenko did not stick to recommended treatment during the last month.

"In connection with this, the doctors suggested Lutsenko undergoing additional instrumental examination outside the remand prison to develop further recommendations. However, he refused to do so and filed the corresponding statement to the head of the Service," the SPSU press service noted.
