Minister of education and science, youth and sports Dmytro Tabachnyk said that all schools are fully provided with textbooks, he told a briefing in Dnipropetrovsk.
"This year, the state order was discharged to print 4.5 million textbooks for the first grade and reprint two million copies for the 11 grade. As of today, all books have been printed and carried not just to the districts and regions, but to the schools," he said.
The average price of the textbook, according to Tabachnyk, amounts to 12.8 hryvnia.
The minister noted that all schools are fully provided with textbooks by September 1.
