Prime Minister Mykola Azarov is sure that the future of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, including the creation of a free trade area, currently rests in the hands of the EU.

According to Azarov, the text of the agreement is initialed and is practically ready to be signed.

"The agreement is initialed. What does the initialing mean? That the document is prepared, each page of the agreement is verified. Now it is up to the European Union. You should ask not me, but the European Union, when they are going to ratify this agreement," Azarov told a press briefing after the opening of the Stalteh steel plant in Brovary, Kyiv region.
