On August 25, the Central Election Commission amended the budget for preparation and holding of regular parliamentary election of Ukraine to be held on October 28 this year.

The relevant resolution was taken at the CEC meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.

In particular, the changes relate to minor reallocation of resources among several expenditure items and do not require general increase in previously approved funding of the electoral process.

Reallocation will allow increasing the number of archive boxes for polling station commissions. In particular, it is proposed to increase the archive boxes for the average polling station from two to three units, for the large one - from two to four units. General need for archival boxes will be 123 thousand 680 units worth 3.092 thousand UAH.

In addition, as the CEC member and spokeswoman Zhanna Usenko-Chorna explained, the additional resources will be used for producing seals for the district electoral commissions.

"The analysis of prices has shown that their production has become more expensive, and amounts to not 100 UAH, as was provided before, but from 210 to 250 UAH," the CEC member summed up.
