Any initiative on realization of the language law in regions must be financed from local budgets, speaker of Ukraine's parliament Volodymyr Lytyvn said in an interview with Channel 5.
"According to preliminary estimations, the realization of the language law in regions costs from 5 to 17 billion hryvnias. I believe the sum must be well calculated by Economy Ministry and local elf-governments.
I believe any initiative on this issue must be carried out at the expense of local budgets. I think if they really understand this sum, they will be more realistic on this issue," Lytvyn declared.
