Due to the parliamentary elections, the autumn conscription will be held in two stages: from October 5 to 12 and from November 1 to 23, the press service of the Defense Ministry reports.
This will ensure the participation of citizens in the elections on October 28 directly in the military units or the places of registration respectively.
On August 22, the government adopted a relevant resolution.
The Cabinet also approved a number of citizens of Ukraine, who are subjects to the call for compulsory military service in October and November, there are 18.9 thousand people.
According to the document, 12.5 thousand of them will go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 5.4 thousand people to the Internal forces and one thousand to the State Special Transport Service.
By the same resolution, the government approved expenditures for this conscription and it totaled 5.1 million hryvnia.
