During January - July of 2012, Ukraine exported 5 320.3 million kWh of electricity, which is by 2 247.2 million kWh or by 73.1% more than in 2011, the press service of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry reported.

The largest share of exports went to Belarus – 2115.6 million kWh or 39.8%. Hungary ranked the second place - 2 022.5 million kWh or 38.0%. The third and the fourth places went to Poland and Moldova with 526.9 million kWh or 9.9% and 471.6 million kWh or 8.9% respectively.

In July of 2012, Ukraine exported 1 006.2 million kWh of electricity, which is by 405.5 million kWh or by 67.5% more than during the same period in 2011.
