The Embassy of Ukraine in Moscow begins preparing the visit of President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych to Russia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Russia Volodymyr Yelchenko informed.

"Next week we start to prepare the state visit of our President to the Russian Federation, which was agreed on July 12. Its precise date has not been determined yet, but it will be paid in fall," Yelchenko said.

According to him, it is now important to determine the scope of issues are to be discussed, what places and cities are to be visited, and the most important thing - what documents are to be signed.
The Ambassador explained that the state visit usually lasts two days.

"I think that on the first day there will be the meetings in Moscow, the second city is to be determined by the Russian party. Perhaps it will be combined with the Economic Forum to be held in Nizhni Novgorod. However, there may be other options," he said.

As reported, in July 2012, at the meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian interstate commission, the two Presidents agreed that Yanukovych will pay a state visit to Russia this fall, and Vladimir Putin will pay visit to Ukraine in 2013.
