Ukraine needs to open foreign markets to sale domestic goods, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov told the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We need to vigorously open foreign markets for our goods. At the same time, we should reveal the possibilities of the Ukrainian market for foreign investors. We should ensure that our exporting companies find the orders in the domestic market in difficult time as well," Azarov said.
In his opinion, such opportunities can be provided even in conditions of a global recession.
"Last week, I met with confidant to South Korean President Lee Jae-oh. Koreans offer to invest in our economy and are interested in enhancing bilateral trade. Korean business found out the potential of Ukraine. Korea is ready to take part in the joint production of speed trains in Ukraine, the construction of high-speed railways, the building of a liquefied natural gas terminal, the agricultural sector projects, the establishment of e-government," the PM said.
In addition, he noted that Ukraine has swift trade and economic relations with China, Brazil and India.
"I demand to pay special attention to economic relations with countries demonstrating the dynamic development," he urged.
