More than 100 Poltava region schools lack warm toilets

Currently, 123 schools in the Poltava region are not equipped with stationary toilets, head of the Main Department of Education and Science of the Poltava Regional State Administration Volodymyr Miroshnichenko said.

According to him, in 2012, 227 rural schools in Poltava region were equipped with stationary toilets.
"However, another 123 educational institutions in Poltava region still lack warm toilets. There is an opportunity to move the toilets from the streets to the building virtually in all schools in the region, as long as there is none institution without water supply in there," Miroshnichenko said.

Chairman of the Regional State Administration Oleksandr Udovichenko said that the region plans to "remove the issue from the agenda" as soon as possible.
