The Cabinet of Ministers identified the Citronics Information Technologies of Ukraine PJSC as the performer of works to set video monitoring systems for the parliamentary elections in Ukraine in October 2012.

The corresponding decree was published at the website of the Cabinet.

The company was chosen according to the conclusion of the Infrastructure Ministry on the results of monitoring the market for potential suppliers of the goods and works.

As reported, the law on the setting and introducing of video monitoring system worth 993.6 million UAH at the polling stations during the parliamentary elections in Ukraine in 2012, entered into force on August 5.

Under the law, the procurement of goods, works and services for the acquisition, installation and operation of the video monitoring systems at the polling stations shall not be regulated by the law of Ukraine on public procurement.

The law introduces a system of video monitoring, video recording, storage of video and its broadcasting on the Internet.
