By the beginning of new academic year, schools in Donetsk region will receive 1545 computers, the press service of the Donetsk Regional State Administration reported.
"This year, the government of Ukraine and the government of the People's Republic of China signed an agreement on providing the educational institutions of Ukraine with computer equipment. Under this agreement, on August 21, Donetsk region will receive free 1545 personal computers for secondary schools in towns and districts," the statement said.
The computer rooms, libraries, presentational and methodological offices of educational institutions will receive the computer equipment.
This will help to modernize the education system in the region and increase the quality of students' knowledge, as well as improve the introduction of innovative technologies by teachers, the press service said.
