Starting from August 20, the National Bank of Ukraine adopts the commemorative coin "Paralympic Games" with nominal value of two UAH, the official site of the NBU reported.
The coin is dedicated to the XIV Summer Paralympic Games that will be held in London, the historic homeland of the world paralympic movement.
The coin is made of nickel silver, its weight is 12.8 g, diameter - 31.0 mm, circulation - 30 thousand and price - 15 UAH.
The small State Emblem of Ukraine is shown at the top of the coin, as well as the inscription - NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE. We also can see a panorama of the city of London on the coin, the Paralympic torch from the left, a stylized decoration and the inscription of LONDON from the right and the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine at the bottom.
The Paralympic archer is shown on the coin alignment with the emblem of the paralympic movement in Ukraine above and the inscription - XIV Paralympics from the right.
