CEC to form 225 constituency election commissions until August 26

The Central Election Commission has to form constituency election commissions until August 26, deputy chairman of the CEC Andriy Mahera said after the meeting of the commission.

"Until August 26, the CEC must complete the formation of the constituency election commissions, but it will be preceded by two preliminary stages - representing the Party candidates for the regional election commissions and the draw among the candidates," Mahera said.

He reminded that, in accordance with the law, the political parties have to submit their views on the candidates to include in the constituency election commissions until August 21.

"We have 89 electoral subjects. This means that in addition to five parliamentary parties, 89 parties will have the right to participate in the nominations to constituency election commissions," Mahera said.
