The full National Paralympic team of Ukraine was presented in Kyiv, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Here is a unique team - this is the greatest team in the history of Ukraine. It consists of 155 athletes who will compete in 12 sports out of 20 possible. The team includes 232 athletes from 24 regions of Ukraine," the president of the National Paralympic Committee of Ukraine Valery Sushkevych said.
According to him, this year, the Ukrainian team is younger.
"After Beijing, this team was refreshed by 41%. It became younger and stronger. Speaking of youth, we should mention the youngest athlete - 14-year-old Maryna Piddubna," he said.
The XIV Summer Paralympic Games will be held on August 29-September 9, 2012 in London.
