During today’s session, the Kherson regional council decided to implement the law "On principles of state language policy" in the region.
In particular, 50 MPs out of 55 registered voted in favor of this decision, four deputies voted against and one abstained (in total, there are 84 deputies in the council).
The draft decision was included into the agenda for consideration at the working group session before the meeting of the regional council, but the identity of a deputy who introduced this bill was not reported either at the session or after it.
