Foreign Ministry of Poland has dismissed five out of six consuls, who used to work in the Lutsk visa office and were withdrawn due to the visa scandal, press office of the Ministry reports.

"The withdrawn consuls have terminated their services in the Foreign Ministry. However, it does not concern the Consul General Marek Martinek, who was recalled due to the failure to provide appropriate control over the process of visa issuance," press office report says. The Ministry also informed they do not know about sentencing of Polish diplomats, who used to work in Ukraine.

Anti-corruption bureau of Poland (CBA) informed that since its foundation in 2006 the agency has not revealed any cases on corruption of Polish diplomats, working in Ukraine.

Press secretary of the department Jacek Dobrzynski informed that the case on illegal issuance of visas had been followed since august 2011 and was submitted recently under control of the Appeal prosecution of Katowice.

The official reported that in the past CBA revealed two cases on corruption of Polish diplomats, working in South Korea and Malaysia and taking bribes for issuing visas.
