Education and science, youth and sports minister of Ukraine Dmytro Tabachnyk supports the initiative of Economy Ministry to amend the guarantees of the state order to universities.
"I support the initiative, because the fixing of any position in the social or educational fields preserves the status quo and prevent from developing the best universities," the minister told a press conference at the Cabinet, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, in case of adoption of this bill, the more popular universities will be able to increase the rate of state order for students, which in turn will allow more talented young people to get education at public expense.
