Ukraine needs adopting a new version of the law on insurance, the head of the State Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets Andriy Stasevsky told an online conference, which runs on ForUm.
According to the official, the Commission is now actively working on the preparation of the relevant bill.
"I had several meetings with the representatives of the pawnshops, credit unions, leasing companies. We agreed to work together to prepare conceptual amendments to their special laws. Such work has already begun," Stasevsky said.
According to the head of the State Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets, the process of improving the financial services market legislation may take about two years. The same refers to the Financial Services Commission regulations that should be issued in new editions.
